From mtj upon leaving the Montrose airport, take a left onto hwy. Us550 and proceed to main st. This is the intersection of us550 /townsend ave. And us 50/main st. Turn right on westmain st, drive west approx. 2 miles to hwy 90/hwy 90 is atthe top of the hill just past the stop light at spring creekblvd. Turn left onto hwy. 90, proceed approx. 1.5 miles tothe t intersection. Turn right at the t to remain onhwy. 90 go approx 1/4 mile to dave wood rd. Turn left ontodave wood rd. Stay on dave wood rd. All the way/approx. 12miles to the resort entrance. Dave wood rd. Will turn into agravel / dirt road. Travel until you see the large wood andiron gate with the prominent Elk Mountain Resort arched signon the left side of the road.
