Location. Purgatory Village Lodge is a slope side condominium style accommodation located in the San Juan National Forest, between Silverton and Durango, Colorado. Tucked between the San Juan Mountains and the Animas River Valley, the town of Durango has been dubbed one of the most desirable small cities in the country. Home to the popular Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, the town also hosts a delightful string of shops, galleries and microbreweries. There is plenty to keep visitors busy, including fantastic skiing and snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding in summer.
Hotel Features. Purgatory Villaqe Lodge offers modern amenities and ski in/ski out access. A year round indoor/outdoor pool, jetted tubs, saunas and a fitness room are located on site for guest use. Conference facilities are available and wireless Internet access is offered in public areas.

Guestrooms. The Purgatory Village Lodge offers a variety of accommodation options ranging from studios to two bedroom condos, most with kitchens and fireplaces. Expert Tip. The San Juan Skyway is a 236 mile route designated as one of six "All American" roads by the United States Department of Transportation. Looping through alpine forest, rolling hills and towering mountains, the 236 mile San Juan Skyway connects Durango with other popular towns such as Telluride, Ouray and Ridgway. For those who don't mind the drive, Ridgway State Park offers 1,000 acres of water for boating, fishing and swimming.
